The characteristics of somatostatin receptor PET/CT in bone metastases of neuroendocrine tumors
#3659
Introduction: Bone metastasis is a poor prognostic predictor of neuroendocrine neoplasms.
Aim(s): Our aim is to discuss the diagnostic efficiency and imaging features of somatostatin receptor PET/CT for bone metastasis of NENs.
Materials and methods: Clinical characteristics and PET/CT features of NENs with bone metastasis in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center were retrospectively analysed. Positive lesions on PET/CT were defined as focal significant uptake which was higher than background of normal bone. SUVmax of positive lesions was measured. The detective rate of PET/CT by the different tracers and SUVmax was compared.
