The Combination of CK19 and KIT is a Potential Predictor for Clinical Behaviors and Postoperative Outcomes in Resectable Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
#593
Introduction: We assumed that pNETs is a disease triggered by the re-activation of developmental signaling pathways, once again expressing KIT and CK19.
Aim(s): We validate the expressions of CK19 and KIT in normal pancreatic islets and resectable pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs).
Materials and methods: Immunohistochemistry (ICH) was performed.
