The Use of Total Parenteral Nutrition in a Series of Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumours in United Kingdom and the Netherlands

Introduction: There are controversies about the use of total parental nutrition (TPN) in patients with cancer. Currently data regarding TPN use in patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are lacking.

Aim(s): To describe a series of patients with NETs using TPN.

Materials and methods: A search within the national home TPN databases was performed to identify patients with NETs. Home TPN centers were contacted to collect data regarding NETs, TPN and survival.
