#3042 The Use of Total Parenteral Nutrition in a Series of Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumours in United Kingdom and the Netherlands

Introduction: There are controversies about the use of total parental nutrition (TPN) in patients with cancer. Currently data regarding TPN use in patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are lacking.

#2967 Longitudinal Changes in Plasma 5-Hydroxyindoleacetic Acid (5-HIAA) and Other Biomarkers during Treatment of Functional Midgut Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs) with Lanreotide Autogel: CALM NET Study Results

Introduction: CALM-NET (EudraCT 2013-002194-22; NCT02075606) evaluated pre-treatment circulating tumour cell levels in patients with NETs as a predictor of response to lanreotide autogel (LAN).

#2935 Prior Surgical Resection and Ga-68-DOTANOC PET/CT Imaging-Based Parameters: Do These Impact Outcomes in Grade II Gastroentero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (GEP-NETs)

Introduction: Grade 2 GEP-NETs have inherent tumor heterogeneity seen with positive expression of somatostatin (SSTR) and glucose (GLUT) receptors. Prior surgical resection and imaging parameters on Ga-68 DOTANOC PET/C are well-established variable impacting prognosis in well-differentiated grade 1 NETs. Since the degree of differentiation is variable in Grade 2 NETs, these parameters have not been studied.

#2764 Cystic Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors. Can We Diagnose Them Preoperatively?

Introduction: Pancreatic neueroendocrine tumors rarely undergo cystic changes but they are often misdiagnosed as pancreatic mucinous cystadenoma, mucinous cystadenocarcinoma, serous cystadenoma, and solid and cystic papillary tumors, or pseudocyst.

#2762 Finding the Risk Factors Associated with Neuroendocrine Tumors of Rectum

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors usually exhibits aggressive clinical behaviour and exclusive histopathological features. 60 to 70% of rectal NETs are asymptomatic.
