The value of biomarkers in gastroenterology neuroendocrine neoplasms
#3144
Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are heterogeneous which include neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), neuroendocrine carcinomas [NECs including small cell carcinoma (SCCs) and large cell carcinomas (LCCs)] and mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasm (MiNENs).
Aim(s): Investigating value and relationship between Rb and DLL3 as biomarkers of NENs in different subtypes and primary sites.
Materials and methods: We collected gastroenterology NEN patients from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University and performed immunohistochemistry (IHC) in each patient. Two pathologists check the IHC results independently.
