#4639 Prevalence and characteristics of incidental NET of the Meckel’s diverticula: Retrospective cohort study at a tertiary centre

Introduction: Meckel’s diverticulum is a rare finding in adults but can harbour malignancies such as leiomyosarcoma or neuroendocrine tumours (NET). The clinical presentation and tumour characteristics, including grading, have shown high variability in recent studies for NET.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Berckenhagen L

Authors: Berckenhagen L, Weidemann S, Amin T, Ritter A, Poppinga J,

Keywords: Meckel’s diverticula, incidental NET, acute abdomen, lower GI-bleeding,

#4434 Treatment approaches for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms: A twelve-year experience at a single centre in Colombia

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) have multiple treatment options, but their availability varies by cost.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Molina-Pimienta L

#4419 Real-world outcomes in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms at a cancer centre in a middle-income country

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are rare tumours that are increasing in prevalence. However, the epidemiology of GEP-NENs in Latin America is not well understood.

#4311 Characterisation of patients diagnosed with metastatic head and neck paraganglioma treated at an oncology referral institution in Colombia

Introduction: Head and neck paragangliomas (HNPGL) are rare tumours. Multiple risk factors associated with the risk of metastasis have been described, although much of the available information corresponds to the group of Pheochromocytoma and Paragangliomas, not necessarily extrapolatable to metastatic HNPGLs.

#4219 MAPK and mTOR pathway activation is associated with chemotherapy resistance and a poor prognosis in G3 advanced NENs

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) comprise a broad spectrum of disease ranging from slowly progressive to highly aggressive carcinomas.
