Introduction: The current grading system for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP-NEN) is based on Ki-67 index and/or mitotic rate. By definition, high-grade NEN (neuroendocrine tumour grade 3 [NET G3] and neuroendocrine carcinoma [NEC]) have a Ki-67 >20%, while NET G1 have a Ki-67

Introduction: T-LAK cell-originated protein kinase (TOPK) is highly expressed in pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) with liver metastasis and is associated with a poor prognosis.

Introduction: DLL3 is expressed on several cancers including epNECs. BI 764532 is a DLL3/CD3 IgG-like T-cell engager. NCT04429087 is a Phase I trial of BI 764532 in pts with locally advanced/metastatic DLL3+ small-cell lung cancer, epNEC or large-cell neuroendocrine lung carcinoma. Here we focus on pts with epNEC.

Introduction: The germline predisposition to neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) is not-well understood beyond genetic syndromes associated with MEN1 loss.
