#4630 Radiolabelled somatostatin receptor (SSTR) antagonist vs. agonist for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PPRT) in patients with SSTR positive neuroendocrine tumours – A retrospective basket study

Introduction: PRRT with lutetium-177 labelled somatostatin receptor (SSTR) agonists ([177Lu]Lu-DOTATATE or [177Lu]Lu-DOTATOC (177Lu-TOC) has limited response rate and durability. The SSTR antagonist [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-JR11 (177Lu-JR11) offers potentially increased tumour doses with better efficacy.

#4533 Receptor radionuclide therapy with 177Lu-DOTATOC (177Luedotreotide or 177Lu-octreotide) in SSTR positive patients: A multicentre, prospective, phase II trial

Introduction: For advanced G1-G2 GEP-NET patients, peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) with 177Lu-DOTATATE can be recommended. However, there are several SSTR-positive tumours for which PRRT has previously shown efficacy that are not currently covered by the indications for 177Lu-DOTATATE in Italy and, therefore, cannot benefit from it. Less used and studied is the 177Lu-DOTATOC. This is a radiopeptide with excellent safety and efficacy profile in PRRT and certainly not lower than 177Lu-DOTATATE.

#3730 Somatostatin receptor expression in lung neuroendocrine tumors – An analysis of Dotatate PET scans

Introduction: Somatostatin receptor (SSTR) expression in metastatic lung neuroendocrine (carcinoid) tumors has not been well-characterized using modern positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. Understanding the degree and uniformity of SSTR expression is important to establish the role of SSTR-targeted treatments, including peptide receptor radiotherapy (PRRT), in lung NETs.

#517 Initial Experience of Biological Stability and Image Timing of Ga-68 DOTANOC in Somatostatin Receptor (sstr) Expressing Organ and Tumor

Introduction: Since Ga68 DOTATATE has a high affinity to only sstr2 but no affinity to sstr3 and sstr5, Ga68 DOTANOC has been suggested to be a better radioligand with higher affinity to sstr3 and sstr5 and high affinity to sstr2, as well.
