#4574 Long-acting somatostatin analogue injections for treating gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NETs) and acromegaly: BackSOM – A patient preference study

Introduction: Long-acting somatostatin analogues, lanreotide and octreotide, are indicated for first-line treatment of GEP-NETs and acromegaly. Lanreotide was approved in 2007 in Europe, and is supplied as a prefilled, ready-to-use syringe (LAN-PF). In 2021, a generic form of lanreotide was released and supplied in a syringe requiring assembly (LAN-RA). To ensure patient compliance with treatment, it is important to understand their injection experiences.

#3554 Stereotactic radiosurgery of brain metastases in large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung

Introduction: Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is an established treatment of brain metastases (BM) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whereas small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is usually treated with whole-brain irradiation (WBI). There is no consensus on treatment of BM in large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung (LCNEC).

#3514 DLL3 expression and clinico-pathological data in 247 patients with NEN

Introduction: Delta-like protein 3 (DLL3) is currently under clinical investigation as a potential therapeutic target in small cell neuroendocrine lung cancer. Characterization of the levels and patterns of DLL3 expression in other neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) is limited.

#1061 Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization for Unresectable Metastatic Hepatic Lesions of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: The blood supply of metastatic hepatic neuroendocrine tumors is mainly supplied by hepatic arteries. For unresectable metastatic NETs, selective embolisation of the hepatic arteries may be therapeutic.

#233 Afinitor UK Particular Patient Supplies for Advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs)

Introduction: The PI3/Akt/mTOR pathway is activated by IGF-1 in NETs. mTOR regulates signalling downstream of IGF-1R1: Afinitor and Sandostatin may synergistically arrest growth and secretory activity in NETs.
