#4658 The nutritional status worsens over 5 years in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours on treatment with somatostatin analogues

Introduction: Malnutrition is common in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NETs) treated with monthly somatostatin analogues (SSAs). Ideally all malnourished patients are offered nutritional support. However, clinical guidelines and data on the development and progression of malnutrition is lacking.

#4003 Neuroendocrine differentiation in gastric cancer: Epidemiological insights and therapeutic implications

Introduction: Gastric cancer (GC) with neuroendocrine differentiation (NED) represents a significant yet understudied subset, accounting for 10-40% of cases. The absence of tailored clinical guidelines highlights the urgent need for specialized treatment approaches.

#3054 Nutritional Status and Considerations for Patients Diagnosed with a Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumour: Nutrition in NETs Study

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP NET) can adversely affect nutritional status. Cross-sectional studies report up to 25% of GEP NET patients are malnourished and dietary change may be prevalent. Nevertheless, clinical guidelines lack advice on nutrition management.
