#4612 Intraoperative beta-probe for pathological tissue detection in GEP-NET patients: A prospective phase II trial

Introduction: Accurate localisation of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET) is essential for successful radical surgery. Radio guided surgery (RGS) is an innovative technique that may enhance lesion detection.

#4414 Impact of chromogranin A expression on clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis in patients with gastrointestinal tumours exhibiting neuroendocrine differentiation

Introduction: Pathological diagnosis of neuroendocrine differentiation (NED) relies on histomorphological assessment and specific markers, including chromogranin A (CgA) and synaptophysin (Syn). Previous studies indicate that tumours with a high proportion of CgA (+) exhibit increased malignancy and aggressiveness in neuroendocrine tumours, suggesting that CgA may serve as a prognostic marker.
