#3715 Finding the frequency of bronchial carcinoid tumors associated with neuroendocrine syndrome

Introduction: Pulmonary carcinoid tumors are part of bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine neoplasms (bpNETs) along with large and small cell pulmonary carcinoma. They are capable of producing a variety of peptides and biological active hormones such as serotonin, histamine, bombesin thus leading to several endocrine syndromes.
