#4622 Elucidating the role of high mobility group box 3 (Hmgb3) during progression and response to radiation therapy in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: We have recently demonstrated that HMGB3 is upregulated during the pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNETs) transition via dedifferentiation from a relatively benign molecular subtype to an aggressive and highly metastatic molecular subtype. HMGB3 expression has recently been linked to resistance to therapy, metastasis, and poor prognosis in patients with various solid cancers.

#4511 Sequencing chemotherapy and radiotherapy leading to complete remission in a patient with highly aggressive, advanced neuroendocrine cancer of unknown origin

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms arise from endocrine cells throughout the body, primary tumour may be localised in various organs. Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) is very aggressive form of these tumours with survival limited usually to a few months despite oncological treatment.

#4301 Case report on the effectiveness of combination therapy in highly aggressive resistant prolactinoma

Introduction: Prolactinomas represent 50% of pituitary neuroendocrine tumours (PitNET), aggressive prolactinomas represent 15% of them.

#4257 Tolerability and outcomes of neuroendocrine tumors treated with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy

Introduction: The addition of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) to patients treated with PRRT may provide synergistic benefit by targeting specific sites of disease that represent areas of tumor heterogeneity. Little is known regarding the efficacy or potential toxicity of this approach. A retrospective review of patients with NEN treated with sequential PRRT and SBRT was performed to provide preliminary outcome and toxicity data to inform further combined treatment strategies.

#3998 Selective internal radiation therapy for neuroendocrine liver metastases: Efficacy, safety and prognostic factors – A retrospective single institution study

Introduction: Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) has shown good results in unresectable liver metastases from neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENLMs) with a high disease control rate (DCR) reported (Braat et al., 2019).
