#4095 CAPTEM and PRRT to improve overall response for pancreatic NETs (pNETs) – The CORONET trial

Introduction: Patients with advanced pNETs have limited treatment options. The NETTER-2 and OCLURANDOM trials have established peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) as a standard treatment in pNETs; CAPTEM chemotherapy is an active regimen in NENs. The CONTROL NETs trial has shown promising response rate and progression-free survival with PRRT+CAPTEM, warranting further investigation.

#3550 Randomized open label phase III study comparing the efficacy and safety of Everolimus followed by chemotherapy with Streptozotocin (STZ)-5FU upon progression or the reverse sequence, in advanced progressive panNETs: The SEQTOR study (GETNE 1206)

Introduction: STZ-5FU and everolimus are frontline options for systemic treatment in patients with advanced and progressive pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (panNETs). Switch between both upon progression is a common strategy, but the best sequence is not yet well established.

#3449 Cavum neuroendocrine carcinoma

Introduction: Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the head and neck is an unusual entity, especially in the cavum, given their rarity and the lack of randomized trials. The therapeutic management of these tumors is difficult. Their prognosis remains unfavourable.

#3335 Efficacy of somatostatin analogue (SSA) monotherapy for well-differentiated grade 3 (G3) gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs)

Introduction: Currently, there is minimal published data on the efficacy of SSAs for well-differentiated G3 NETs. Randomized trials have demonstrated a progression-free survival (PFS) benefit and limited response for lower grade 1-2 NETs, but the optimal therapy for metastatic G3 NETs is unknown.

#2883 Comparison of Somatostatin Analogues in Metastatic Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors from a Bayesian Perspective: The GETNE-TRASGU Study

Introduction: Somatostatin analogues (SSA), octreotide LAR (Oct) and lanreotide autogel (Lan), significantly prolong progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with well-differentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET). However, comparative data are not available and randomized trials comparing both SSAs are unlikely to be conducted.
