#4597 FIT-NETs: Assessing the effects of an exercise programme on the physical and emotional well-being of patients with advanced G1-2 NETs of GEP or unknown origin

Introduction: Physical activity programs in solid tumours have shown to improve symptom control and even survival, but their impact on NENs remains unexplored. Advanced disease, systemic therapy, and hormonal secretion in these tumours often lead to muscle wasting and sarcopenia.

#4591 Efficacy of Trabectedin and Olaparib in homologous repair deficient neuroendocrine neoplasms – A subgroup analysis of the TOP-ART / PMO-1603 trial

Introduction: Genomic alterations resulting in homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) occur in a variety of cancers including neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN). HRD-positive tumours are sensitive to PARP inhibitors such as olaparib. The DNA minor groove binder trabectedin leads to DNA double strand breaks and PARP activation. The combination of Trabectedin + Olaparib (TrO) may therefore have synergistic effects in HRD-positive tumours.

#4459 Sequential alkylating therapy and pembrolizumab induce near-complete response in high tumour mutational burden pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour: A case report

Introduction: Traditional treatment for neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), including surgery, somatostatin therapy, and targeted therapy, often fails in advanced disease. Alkylating therapy can increase tumour mutational burden (TMB), and the recent KEYNOTE-158 study approved pembrolizumab for advanced solid tumours with a high TMB.
