#3344 Somatostatin receptor scintigraphy in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET) are rare tumors, but their incidence is increasing. They are characterised by a high rate of metastasis (50%), mainly to the liver. Due to their relatively slow tumor growth, they are associated with prolonged survival rates. Somatostatin receptor scintigraphy (SRS) is a valuable tool for diagnostic, staging and follow-up.
