#3247 The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on oncological care in neuroendocrine patients - A single-institution experience

Introduction: Since the first cases during the month of December 2019, coronavirus disease (COVID-19) evolved into a worldwide emergency. At the Humanitas Cancer Center, we have been operating at the epicenter of the European outbreak since the end of February, when the first Italian case was registered. Our government imposed a general lockdown from March to June in order to limit the spread of the infection across the population.

Introduction: COVID-19 pandemic has infected nearly 55,078,170 individuals with 1,328,262 deaths since first identified in the human population in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. Global all-cause morbidity and mortality have increased due to the low availability of Global Health Care Services. The new challenge is to maintain high standards of care.
