The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on oncological care in neuroendocrine patients - A single-institution experience

#3247

Introduction: Since the first cases during the month of December 2019, coronavirus disease (COVID-19) evolved into a worldwide emergency. At the Humanitas Cancer Center, we have been operating at the epicenter of the European outbreak since the end of February, when the first Italian case was registered. Our government imposed a general lockdown from March to June in order to limit the spread of the infection across the population.

Aim(s): To assess the impact of COVID on oncological care of patients (pts) with neuroendocrine disease (NETs).

Materials and methods: Retrospective analysis of consecutive pts with NETs either at the initial diagnosis or during follow-up.
