#4654 Usefulness of soluble tumour necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) and its receptors R2 and R3 in progression assessment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms – A preliminary study

Introduction: TRAIL is a member of TNF family and appears in membrane and soluble (s) forms. It acts either triggering (R1 and R2) or blocking (R3 and R4) apoptosis. TRAIL targeted therapy is widely studied and known as potentially effective in number of neoplasms.

#4646 Dysregulated miRNA in patients with GEP-NEN and potential role as circulating biomarker

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are a class of rare and molecularly extremely heterogeneous tumours. NENs arise predominantly in the gastrointestinal (GEP) and pulmonary tracts but can also involve thyroid and breast. NENs often present with non-specific symptoms and lack early specific biomarkers, leading to frequent metastatic diagnoses and primary site challenges.

#4643 Characterisation of patients with progressive digestive NET during PRRT (LUTA-CHEC): A multicentre study from the Groupe des Tumeurs Endocrines

Introduction: PRRT with 177Lu-DOTATATE is a major treatment for metastatic digestive NETs. Most patients have prolonged progression-free survival, but around 20% experience early progression.

#4622 Elucidating the role of high mobility group box 3 (Hmgb3) during progression and response to radiation therapy in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: We have recently demonstrated that HMGB3 is upregulated during the pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNETs) transition via dedifferentiation from a relatively benign molecular subtype to an aggressive and highly metastatic molecular subtype. HMGB3 expression has recently been linked to resistance to therapy, metastasis, and poor prognosis in patients with various solid cancers.
