Association Between Time to Disease Progression Endpoints and Overall Survival in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors
#300
Introduction: While the association between time to disease progression (TDP) and overall survival (OS) has been examined in a variety of cancers, it has not been assessed in trials of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
Aim(s): To assess the feasibility of a quantitative assessment of the association between TDP and OS in trials of treatments for NETs.
Materials and methods: Published trials of medical therapies for NET were identified by systematic review of the literature. Data on methods, patients, and results for TDP (TTF, TTP, PFS) and OS (median, hazard ratios [HRs]) were extracted from identified studies. Associations between median TDP and median OS and HRs for TPD & HRs for OS were analyzed by linear regression.
