Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the breast

Introduction: Primary neuroendocrine breast carcinomas are rare and little-known tumors. They account for only 2 % to 5 % of breast cancers. Diagnosis is based on neuroendocrine architecture associated with the expression of neuroendocrine markers.

Aim(s): Do not miss the diagnosis of breast neuroendocrine carcinoma.

Materials and methods: 55-year-old patient with a breast mass whose biopsy revealed a non-specific invasive breast carcinoma.
