Management of type-I gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms: A single center’s real world experience

#3441

Introduction: Currently, the optimal management of Type-1 gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (T1gNENs) remains an active issue. The best endoscopic approach still needs to be defined.

Aim(s): First aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical outcome of patients with T1gNENs. Secondly we aimed to evaluate their recurrence rate concerning different endoscopic resection techniques.

Materials and methods: This is a prospective study including patients with histological diagnosis of CAG with T1gNENs, evaluated at Sant’Andrea University Hospital. Patients were managed with regular endoscopic surveillance at 6-12-months intervals, and T1gNENs were not resected or endoscopically removed by forceps or snare, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).
