Morphological Differentiation and Ki67-Index Are Predictive of Prognosis Independently of the Type of Therapy in Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Carcinomas (NECs)

#1446

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) are considered an heterogeneous category.

Aim(s): To clarify the prognostic role of different morphological characteristics and the impact of medical therapy on survival.

Materials and methods: 136 patients with GEP-NEC were retrospectively studied.
