#3098 The incidence rate and clinical characteristics of autoimmune metaplastic atrophic gastritis and associated neoplasia in Chinese patients

Introduction: The incidence rate of autoimmune metaplastic atrophic gastritis (AMAG) is on the rise gradually and it may lead to an increased risk of associated gastric neoplastic lesions. However, there is limited literature about the respective incidence of neoplasia with AMAG, such as gastric neuroendocrine tumors (g-NETs), gastric hyperplastic polyps (GHPs) and gastric carcinoma.

#2804 Claudin-18 Is a Sensitive and a Specific Marker for Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: Antibody-based cancer therapies are emerging as promising therapeutics in oncology, including one in clinical trials that targets claudin-18, a protein expressed in normal gastric epithelium and some gastric adenocarcinoma. We currently have no markers for gastric well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
