#4599 Endosonography guided coloenterostomy for management of malignant small bowel ileus
Introduction: Small-bowel ileus (SBI) is often decisive for the prognosis in midgut neuroendocrine tumours (NET) and other peritoneally metastasised neoplasias. Conventional procedures of palliative care deliver unsatisfying results.

#4537 The usefulness of circulating fibrosis markers in detection of carcinoid heart disease
Introduction: Carcinoid heart disease (CHD) is a potential serious fibrotic complication in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), affecting the heart valves. Early detection is crucial to avoid severe manifestations. NT-proBNP is suggested as an initial screening tool in detection of CHD; however, the value of NT-proBNP as a screening tool is questionable.

Introduction: Metastatic WHO grade 3 extra-pulmonary neuroendocrine carcinomas (EP-NEC) have a poor prognosis and optimal treatment after first-line platinum-etoposide chemotherapy remains unclear. A recent, small phase II study combining ipilimumab and nivolumab showed promising results

#1762 Prevalence of Carcinoid Heart Disease in Patients with Disseminated Small Intestinal NET
Introduction: In patients with small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours (SI-NETs), serotonin may induce fibrosis and lead to carcinoid heart disease (CHD) with right sided valvular dysfunction.

Introduction: Poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC sec. WHO 2010) are rare and aggressive neoplasms arising from different districts throughout the body. Platinum and etoposide regimen has been the most widely used first line treatment in this setting.
