Prognosis of patients with rectal neuroendocrine neoplasms and liver metastasis: An analysis based on SEER database
Introduction:
The onset of rectal neuroendocrine neoplasms(r-NENs) is insidious, and the prognosis is relatively good. However, the metastasis of r-NENs may also occur, and the main target organ of distant metastasis is liver. At present, there are few clinical studies on r-NENs, especially there is no consensus on the treatment of r-NENs with distant metastasis, so it is urgent to accumulate large-scale evidence-based medical evidence.
