#4407 Characterisation of patients with neuroendocrine tumours in a specialised care institution in oncological endocrinology Bogotá, Colombia

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are heterogeneous malignancies that arise from the diffuse neuroendocrine system. Its incidence has increased in the last 3 decades. They have a relatively indolent growth rate and are capable of secreting peptide hormones and biogenic amines.

#4229 Bone health in neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are a heterogeneous group of rare neoplasms, classified according to localization of the primary tumor, differentiation and grading. The effect of localized or advanced NENs and systemic therapies on bone and muscle health is still controversial.

#3645 Nab-paclitaxel plus bevacizumab for patients with previously treated, metastatic neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) – A multicenter, open-label, phase II trial

Introduction: No standard therapies beyond first line are established for advanced NECs. Most NECs are hyper vascular, and the efficacy of paclitaxel-based combination regimens in the treatment of multiple digestive cancers has been reported.
