#3926 Epidemiology and outcomes of NET in a Portuguese cancer center
Introduction: NET make up 0.5% of all cancer diagnosis in Europe. They range from indolent to highly aggressive tumors and may cause a wide range of functional symptoms. Phase III trials are difficult because of poor accrual in a heterogenous group of rare tumors.

Introduction: Recently there have been many advances in the diagnosis and treatment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP NETs), accompanied by significant improvements in our understanding of GEP NET biology.
