#2258 Cystic Duct Gastrinoma in a Patient with MEN1: A Case Report

Introduction: Gastrinomas are the most common functional enteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumour in MEN1 patients and are located almost exclusively in duodenum. Biliary tree gastrinomas are rare and accounted for 6 cases in literature. Only one of these cases was restricted to the biliary tree without associated duodenal gastrinomas.

#2036 Extra-Pulmonary Colonic Tuberculosis Presenting as Intestinal Obstruction in a Patient with Disseminated Carcinoid Tumour

Introduction: Extra-pulmonary tuberculosis is responsible for 13% of all tuberculosis cases in Brazil. The incidence of extra-pulmonary tuberculosis is mainly linked to HIV epidemic but recent meta-analysis also correlated it with other diseases like diabetes and mental disorders.

#1810 FOXM1 Is Strongly Associated with Cell Proliferation and Is Not Influenced by Metabolic Syndrome in GEP-NETS

Introduction: Gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors(GEP-NETs) and metabolic syndrome(MS) are both increasing exponentially. MS has been associated with several non NET cancers.

#679 Malignant Pheocromocytoma: Rare, Aggressive, but Easily Neglected

Introduction: Pheocromocytomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors of which only 10% present metastatic disease.

#23 Developing a customized database for NET in a developing country

Introduction: The establishment of a neuroendocrine registry is extremely hard in developing countries. Many patients miss follow-up after surgical procedures and many die in different hospitals with a distinct national security health system number. As in any developing country, Brazil has a large movement of people to urban areas, making the tracking of former addresses impossible for patients who were treated some years prior. Therefore, it is more feasible to evaluate a demographic distribution of neuroendocrine tumors by topography or histological subtype, but the analysis of clinical events, such as progression-free survival, disease-free survival, time to progression or overall survival, is compromised.
