#3579 Setting up of a national liver transplant programme for neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases in UK and Ireland: Opportunities for collaborations in clinical study and research

Introduction: Liver transplantation [LT] for unresectable neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases [NET LM] is one of three new cancer indications in UK and Ireland. Transplant benefit is only proven using the Milan criteria so patient selection needs to be meticulously objective. We have therefore created a national MDT to provide a formal framework, aid patient selection, oversee data collection, monitor performance, provide training and education, deliver equity of access, facilitate research and clinical trials.

Introduction: Liver transplantation for unresectable neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases [NET LM] remains a confusing and controversial area in managing NETs. Patients deemed most suitable for transplantation have good prognosis with standard therapy and best outcomes with transplantation are only achieved at highly experienced Centre(s).

#1339 Netazepide, a Gastrin/CCK2 Receptor Antagonist, Can Eradicate Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumours in Patients with Autoimmune Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Introduction: In a two-centre, 12-week, open trial in 16 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis, hypergastrinaemia, multiple gastric NETs, and raised circulating CgA, the gastrin/CCK2 receptor antagonist, netazepide, reduced the tumour number and size, and normalised CgA.
