#4227 Evaluation of circulating extracellular vesicles as suitable prognostic markers in MEN1-associated non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasia

Introduction: Non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasias (NF-pNENs) significantly contribute to premature death of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) patients. Reliable prognostic markers for disease progression are lacking. Circulating liquid biomarkers, including microRNAs and Long-non-Coding (LnC) RNAs in extracellular vesicles, are emerging as new prognostic tools.

#3334 Utility of midpoint imaging in patients receiving peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) for advanced progressive midgut neuroendocrine tumors (NET)

Introduction: The NETTER-1 trial formed the basis for standard practice of PRRT, consisting of 4 cycles with follow-up imaging during midtreatment and after completion to evaluate disease response. However, in clinical practice the timing of midpoint imaging varies if performed at all, and it is unclear how often it influences subsequent management.

#1944 Predictive Value of Baseline Hematology Parameters on Outcome of 177Lu-DOTATOC PRRT

Introduction: In external beam radiotherapy it has been well established that improved tissue O2 increases therapy efficacy, likely mediated by O2 derived free radicals. Additionally, emerging evidence suggests immuno-stimulatory effects of radiotherapy through activation of lymphocytes.

#1377 Metastatic Neuro Endocrine Tumors: Epidemiological Characteristics, Management and Prognostics Factors. Results from an Inter-Regional Network in France between Upper and Lower Normandy

Introduction: Metastatic neuro-endocrine tumors (MNETs) are rare and their management are complex. To standardize therapeutic strategies in France, a national network of clinicians (RENATEN) has been created, composed of 17 expert centres.

#1312 Epigenetic Remodeling upon DAXX and ATRX Loss in Pancreatic Neuro-endocrine tumors (pNETs)

Introduction: DAXX and or ATRX loss occur in 40% of sporadic pNETs. DAXX and ATRX participate in the cell epigenetic status maintenance. Epigenetic changes influence gene expression, function of telomeres and genomic stability. We hypothesize that DAXX/ATRX loss drives tumor progression in pNET through epigenetic changes affecting genomic stability.
