#3983 Identification of new biomarkers associated with prognosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms and establishment of survival prediction model

Introduction: The Pan-NENs show high heterogeneity, and traditional classification cannot accurately predict tumor biological behavior and patient prognosis.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Yanling X

Authors: Yanling X, Pin Y, Mujie Y, Jianan B, Danyang G,

Keywords: pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm, biomarker, nomogram,

#3821 Risk of venous thromboembolism in pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a leading cause of morbidity and death in cancer. The incidence of VTE is increased in different cancers such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, however limited evidence is present this risk for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pan-NENs).

Conference:

Presenting Author: Gervaso L

Authors: Gervaso L, Laffi A, Cella C, Rubino M, Spada F,

Keywords: Venous thromboembolism, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma, NEN, VTE,

#3742 Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms – Epidemiological description, clinical and pathological aspects

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PanNENs) are considered among the most aggressive, therefore an early diagnosis and proper management are major challenges globally. The incidence of PanNENs is rising as well as the unmet need to study their epidemiology.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Ciobanu O

Authors: Martin S, Ciobanu O, Herlea V, Fica S,

Keywords: pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm, epidemiology, clinical features, pathological aspects,

#2253 The Evolution of Surgical Strategies for Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (Pan-NENs): Time-Trend and Outcome Analysis from 587 Consecutive Resections at a High-Volume Institution

Introduction: Reflecting their rarity and heterogeneity, Pan-NENs represent a clinical dilemma and there is a scarcity of data regarding their long-term follow-up after resection.

Conference: 15th Annual ENETSConcerence (2018)

Presenting Author: Marchegiani G

Authors: Marchegiani G, Landoni L, Pollini T, Miotto M, Cingarlini S,
