#4573 Digestive neuroendocrine tumours: Patterns, pathways, and progress in personalised management

Introduction: Digestive neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), though rare, are increasingly diagnosed with their incidence rising. Histopathological examination is crucial for diagnosis and grading, based on cell differentiation and proliferation index. Often diagnosed late due to non-specific symptoms, these tumours may present with hormone hypersecretion. Updated classifications now allow better risk stratification and tailored treatments. Advances in imaging, particularly PETscans with somatostatin analogues have improved NET diagnosis and monitoring.

Introduction: Autoimmune gastritis (AIG) is the basis of gastric malignancy, including neuroendocrine tumour (NET) and gastric cancer (GC). We reported that Slc26a9 is highly expressed in parietal cells (PCs), and its deficiency caused GC.

#4456 Characteristics and clinical outcomes after endoscopic or surgical resection of localised sporadic type III gastric NETs: A national study from the French Group of Endocrine Tumors and ENDOCAN-RENATEN network

Introduction: Type III gastric neuroendocrine tumours (gNETs) are rare indolent tumours with increasing incidence. Endoscopic resection has recently been described to be a safe strategy to remove small, localised type III gNETs.

Introduction: Current clinical trials have shown that single-targeted matrix administration does not improve patient prognosis. The investigation of targeted matrix administration in combination with other therapies is crucial for effectively managing TSR in pNETs.

#4415 MGMT-activated DUB3 stabilises Nrf2/NCOA4 to modulate apoptosis and ferroptosis, driving temozolomide resistance in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: O6-methylguanine DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) is a key DNA repair enzyme that removes methyl groups from O(6)-alkylguanine in DNA, introduced by temozolomide (TMZ). Clinical studies in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNETs) have confirmed its role in TMZ efficacy.
