#3358 Evaluation of Helicobacter pylori proteins in the pathogenesis of type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumor and urticaria. In-silico approach

Introduction: Helicobacter pylori (Hp) has been linked to several diseases such as chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), gastritis, and type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumors (T1-GNET). Although these diseases seem to have different mechanisms, their relationship with Hp suggests a possible common inflammatory pathway.

#2150 Prognostic Value of Immunohistochemical Expression of Somatostatin Receptors (SS-R2 and SS-R5) in the Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors, Diagnosed in the University Hospital of Pleven, Bulgaria, from the Period 2010 to November 2017

Introduction: Sоmatostatin is a regulatory peptide with a variety of actions in normal and tumor cells. In recent years there are a lot of observations suggesting that the gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) expressed somatostatin receptors (SS-R).The expression could be valuable for the prognosis of patients with GEP-NETs due to the research evidence that well-differentiated tumors express SS-R in the great majority of the cases.
