Introduction: Health-related quality of life (HRQL) and supportive care needs (SCN) of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET) remain understudied. Assessing and identifying the affected domains of HRQL and SCN of the patients with GEP-NET is part of the nursing practice and may contribute to adapt the nursing care.

Introduction: RAISE aimed to find a surrogate endpoint to early predict treatment efficacy in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET). Dissociated response is the inhomogeneous response of the different lesions of a patient. Its prognostic value remains unclear.

Introduction: Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) assesses treatment response via tumor progression in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET). RAISE combined deep learning models (DLM) with sum of the longest diameter (SLD) of liver lesions and chromogranin A (CgA) to find a surrogate endpoint for RECIST to early predict progression-free survival (PFS).

Introduction: Trans-arterial radioembolization (TARE) is a treatment option for patients with liver dominant metastases from neuroendocrine tumors (mNET). The CIRSE Registry for SIR-Spheres Therapy (CIRT) is a European prospective multi-centre observational study conducted by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).
