Aspirin Inhibits Cell Viability and mTOR Signalling in Neuroendocrine Tumor Cells
Introduction:
Patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) type 1 develop pancreatic NETs as well as thymic and bronchus carcinoids. Aspirin has been reported to inhibit mTOR signalling and exhibit antitumoral activity in colorectal cancer cells. So far, no data with aspirin on NETs have been published.
