Introduction: Autoimmune gastritis (AIG) is the basis of gastric malignancy, including neuroendocrine tumour (NET) and gastric cancer (GC). We reported that Slc26a9 is highly expressed in parietal cells (PCs), and its deficiency caused GC.

Introduction: Pathological diagnosis of neuroendocrine differentiation (NED) relies on histomorphological assessment and specific markers, including chromogranin A (CgA) and synaptophysin (Syn). Previous studies indicate that tumours with a high proportion of CgA (+) exhibit increased malignancy and aggressiveness in neuroendocrine tumours, suggesting that CgA may serve as a prognostic marker.

Introduction: Small gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumours (GI-NETs) are often difficult to detect using conventional imaging modalities, leading to delayed diagnosis and suboptimal treatment outcomes. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has emerged as a promising tool for the early detection and precise localisation of these tumours. However, its sensitivity in identifying small lesions remains to be thoroughly evaluated.
