Predictive factors of postoperative recurrence in patients with neuroendocrine tumour of the lung: Prospective analysis of clinicopathologic features and radiomics
Introduction:
In localised and locally advanced forms neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) of the lung radical surgical resection represents the standard of care, several clinicopathologic factors are potentially associated with recurrence of disease.

Evaluation of the impact of indoleamine 2,3-deoxygenase (IDO) enzyme activity in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs)
Introduction:
Indoleamine 2,3-deoxygenase (IDO) enzyme, by inducing L-tryptophan (Trp) depletion and L-kynurenine (kyn) accumulation, contributes to the formation of an immunosuppressive microenvironment. Some studies highlighted that patient with cancer in treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) and with low Kyn/Trp values showed a better PFS and OS, but there are no data for NETs.

Short fasting test as a reliable and effective tool to diagnose insulinoma
Introduction:
Insulinomas are pancreatic NETs presenting with hypoglycaemia. Current guidelines for its diagnosis require a prolonged fasting test (72 hours), which implies hospitalization and is difficult to perform. It has been reported that up to 85% of insulinomas are diagnosed within a 24h fasting period.
