#4649 Claudin 18.2 overexpression in gastric neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Claudin 18.2, is a tissue biomarker physiologically expressed in both healthy gastric mucosa and gastric adenocarcinoma which represents a novel therapeutic target advanced gastric cancer. Various other cancers showed some overexpression of claudin 18.2 opening potential opportunities to agnostic targeted therapy. However, data about claudin 18.2 expression in NENs are poor with only an Eastern study showing higher rate of claudin 18.2 positivity in GEP-NENs, mainly from gastric primary site (27.8%).

#3689 Claudin18.2 expression in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms – A clinico-pathologic study

Introduction: Claudin18.2 is a tight junction protein. Currently, the application of Claudin 18.2 antibody in patients has achieved a great efficacy. However, there are still few systematic studies on the expression of Claudin18.2 in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms(GEP-NENs).

#3575 Claudin 18 immunohistochemistry for determining site of origin of metastatic neuroendocrine tumor

Introduction: Claudin 18 isoform 2 (CLDN18.2) is selectively expressed in normal and neoplastic gastric tissue and some pancreatic neoplasia. Anti-CLDN18.2 is an investigational therapy in gastric and pancreatic adenocarcinoma and a sensitive and specific immunohistochemical marker in these cancers.

#2804 Claudin-18 Is a Sensitive and a Specific Marker for Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: Antibody-based cancer therapies are emerging as promising therapeutics in oncology, including one in clinical trials that targets claudin-18, a protein expressed in normal gastric epithelium and some gastric adenocarcinoma. We currently have no markers for gastric well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

#459 Differential Claudin-1 Gene Expression in Neural Crest-Derived Tumors of Common Embryological Origin

Introduction: Pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma are neural crest-derived tumors originating from chromaffin cells, with the former being intra–adrenal in location, while the latter are extra-adrenal.
