#3031 Primitive Peripheral Neuroectodermal Tumor: Case Report

Introduction: Primitive neuroectodermal tumors belong to the family of Ewing sarcomatous tumors, all derived from the same stem cell. The cells of the neural crest are believed to be at the origin of these tumors. The predilection sites of these sarcomas are para-vertebral region, chest wall and the distal ends. The positive diagnosis of primary neuroectodermal tumors requires the contribution of histopathology, immunohistochemistry and cytogenetics.

#2810 Development of a Personalized Human Immunocompetent Ex-Vivo Model of Neuroendocrine Liver Metastasis Using Precision Cut Tissue Slice Technology

Introduction: Liver metastasis (LM) are very frequent (65-95%) and represent a crucial prognostic factor in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP NENs). The paucity of relevant experimental models has limited the understanding of the pathophysiology of NENs and the development of efficient therapeutic strategies

#2801 IMMUNeOCT: OCT LAR in the Induction of Immunologic Response in Patients with Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs): A Perspective Observational and Translational Study (EudraCT2017-001613-83)

Introduction: The possible impact of octreotide (OCT) Long-Acting Release (LAR) on the immune system regulation is largely unexplored.

#2692 Development of Ex-Vivo Models of Metastatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: The lack of relevant in-vivo and in-vitro models has precluded investigations of the pathophysiology of metastatic NENs. Organotypic tumour slices retain the complexity of tumours in-vivo without extensive manipulation of the tissue.

#2288 Predicting Resectability of Primary Tumor and Mesenteric Lumps in Patients with Small Intestine Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: Vascular infiltration and mesenteric fibrosis may jeopardize resection of primary tumor (PT) and mesenteric metastatic lumps (MLs) in small-intestine neuroendocrine tumors (SI-NETs).
