#4242 Sequential Everolimus and Sunitinib treatment in progressive, advanced, pancreatic NENs: Real-world data from the Belgian Group of Digestive Oncology DNET & NETwerk

Introduction: Everolimus and Sunitinib are often used consecutively for advanced, progressive, well-differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET), but to date no data on the optimal sequence is available.

#3657 Prognostic and therapeutic role of a novel genomic subtyping of target gene sequencing on gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma

Introduction: Despite of emerging genomic discoveries, no optimal management for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (GEPNEC) were found.

#3476 A phase II single arm trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of Temozolomide for second-line treatment of neuroendocrine carcinomas progressing after first-line platinum-based therapy

Introduction: Second-line treatment for neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) have been investigated in prospective trials, with only few prospective trials ongoing. Therefore, there is no consensus on the second-line regimen to use in patients with progressive NEC. These patients have generally a poor performance status (PS) and the tolerance to combination therapy is low. Metronomic temozolomide showed, in retrospective trials, a good safety and efficacy profile.

#3209 Irinotecan and oxaliplatin based regimens of second-line treatment in gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma (GI-NEC) patients: A retrospective study

Introduction: Determination of second line treatment in metastatic gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma (GI-NEC) remains in controversy.

#3167 Safety of Irinotecan-based chemotherapy as second-line treatment in extrapulmonary poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs)

Introduction: Owing to their low incidence, little evidence is available on the proper treatment of Neuroendocrine Carcinomas (NECs), a subgroup of tumors with scarce prognosis. Platinum plus Etoposide have been validated as first-line therapy since the 1991, while there is no consensus regarding further-lines treatment. Irinotecan (IRI)-based chemotherapy have shown promising results in second-line setting but data on safety are poor.
