Introduction: We report the case of a 69-year-old woman presenting a biliary duct neuroendocrine tumor, diagnosed in 2003 treated by extrahepatic biliary tract resection.

Introduction: The somatostatin-2 receptor (SST2) is a target for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). By using epigenetic drugs, which can regulate gene transcription, PRRT efficacy may be further improved due to enhanced SST2 expression.

Introduction: Lanreotide autogel (LAN) and octreotide LAR (OCT) are long acting somatostatin analogues (LA-SSAs) used to treat acromegaly and gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). Previous studies conducted in North America and Sweden showed some differences between both LA-SSAs in terms of dose and persistence.
