#4543 Single-cell transcriptomic landscape indicates the potential role of immunotherapy in metastatic pancreatic angiosarcoma

Introduction: Pancreatic angiosarcoma is a rare and highly aggressive tumour originated from lymphatic or vascular endothelial cells, with poor prognosis and few effective treatments. However, little is known about its tumour microenvironment and the mechanisms of its progression.

#3849 Is patient's BMI representative of their body composition in neuroendocrine tumors?

Introduction: Up to 60% of patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are malnourished. This negatively impacts survival, length of hospital stay, risk of complications, treatment response, fatigue and quality of life. Malnutrition is typically defined by body mass index (BMI) or weight loss, which provides no information on body composition. Research in other cancers has shown sarcopenia is more significant than BMI. Information is lacking on the influence of anthropometric parameters in NETs.

#3603 Genetic tumor and blood profiling in the randomised controlled phase III COMPOSE trial comparing 177Lu-edotreotide and best standard of care for well-differentiated aggressive grade 2/3 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: COMPOSE is a randomised, controlled, open-label, Phase III trial in patients with well-differentiated aggressive G2/G3 (Ki-67 index 15−55%), somatostatin receptor positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). 177Lu-edotreotide targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) will be compared with best standard of care (CAPTEM, FOLFOX or everolimus). Therapeutic strategies for high grade GEP-NETs demonstrate variable outcomes and currently there is a lack of tools to predict TRT efficacy and disease progression. Genetic profiling analysis is proposed to address this need.

Introduction: Lung neuroendocrine neoplasms (LungNENs) comprise a heterogeneous group of rare tumors, but with a rising incidence in the last decades. The mutational landscape of LungNENs has been recently described; in contrast, other key regulatory mechanisms, particularly posttranscriptional processes linked to RNA regulation, remain largely unexplored.
