#4561 Prognostic value of pre-therapeutic and interim SSTR PET in patients with GI-NET receiving peptide receptor radionuclide therapy

Introduction: Baseline and interim (after 2 cycles) somatostatin receptor (SSTR)-directed PET/CTs are essential in patients with gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumours (GI-NET) undergoing peptide radioreceptor therapy (PRRT).

Conference:

Presenting Author: Weber S

Authors: Weber S, Alwers S, Beissert M, Buck A, Werner R,

Keywords: somatostatin, PRRT, PFS, SUVmean,

#4553 The efficacy of “rechallenge” peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) may be inferior to that of the initial PRRT, while the safety profile remains comparable

Introduction: Data on efficacy and adverse events of re-challenge PRRT (re-PRRT) for patients with gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumours (GI-NETs) are limited.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Heinrich M

Authors: Heinrich M, Lutz F, Alwers S, Däubler C, Buck A,

Keywords: gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumour, somatostatin receptor directed PET, laboratory parameters, Progression-free survival,

#4078 Prostate-specific membrane antigen-targeting theranostics in neuroendocrine neoplasms – Initial results from the GI-PSMA phase II trial

Introduction: A single-center Phase II trial (“GI-PSMA”, NCT05547919) was conducted to evaluate prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted theranostics in gastroenteropancreatic tumors.

Keywords: neuroendocrine, PSMA-PET/CT, dosimetry, high-grade NEN, PSMA,

#3211 Microscopic resection margin status does not predict long-term survival in small bowel neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Small bowel neuroendocrine tumors (SBNETs) are increasing in incidence and are the most common small bowel malignancy. The characteristic nodal mass, which may extend high into the mesentery, can make achieving microscopically negative resection margins difficult without resecting excessive lengths of small bowel.

Conference: 18th Annual ENETS Concerence (2021)

Presenting Author:

Authors: Mentor K, Ammar K, Thakkar R, Farrington E, Buckley E,

Keywords: small bowel, grading, resection margin, survival,

#1588 Response Prediction for Vandetanib Treatment in Recurrent Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma using F18-FDG PET

Introduction: Given its neuroendocrine origin, the prognosis of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) remained poor in common chemotherapeutic approaches. However, the encouraging results of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) such as vandetanib emphasize the high demand for selecting appropriate candidates.

Conference: 14th Annual ENETSConcerence (2017)
