#4667 Clinical outcomes in patients with typical (TC) and atypical bronchial carcinoids (AC): A 15-year retrospective study from an ENETS Center of Excellence

Introduction: Bronchial neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) can be subdivided into TCs, ACs and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). Although a few studies have explored treatment approaches and oncological outcomes, most focus on surgical cohorts, small sample sizes, or mixed groups including TC, AC, and NECs. Real-life cohort data are lacking.

Introduction: Surgery is the curative therapy for lung neuroendocrine tumours (NET). Follow-up protocols after surgery are not evidence based and factors affecting survival are not clear.

#4186 The effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the body composition of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors using a somatostatin analogue

Introduction: The Covid-19 pandemic and its restrictions had a negative impact on the general population. Due to lockdowns, food intake increased and exercise decreased. This led to weight gain and changes in body composition. Hospitals reviewed patients (pts) remotely. The effect of the Covid-19 pandemic has not been described in pts with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) treated with somatostatin analogue (SSA).

#3754 Real-world data regarding the obesity paradox in patients with gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) NENs in a single centre in the United Kingdom

Introduction: The obesity paradox is a hypothesis showing patients (pts) with obesity have a prolonged overall survival compared to the ones with a normal weight. This paradox is present in multiple types of gastrointestinal cancer. In one population-based study from the USA, this paradox is also present in pts with GEP-NENs. However real-world data for the UK are lacking.

#3481 Real world overall survival (OS) in patients with gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) in a large United Kingdom (UK) tertiary centre

Introduction: The incidence and prevalence of GEP-NENs is rising worldwide. Overall survival (OS) data is mainly based on data from the USA SEER database. Little data exist regarding OS in a real world UK cohort. Existing data demonstrate no OS differences between gender.
