#4045 Radio-guided surgery with a new generation β-probe for radiolabelled somatostatin analogue, in patients with small intestinal neuroendocrine tumors – A Phase II surgical trial

Introduction: Radio-guided surgery (RGS) proved to be promising in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Previous studies showed high sensitivity but low specificity using gamma probes to detect radiation emitted by radio-labelled somatostatin analogues.

#3724 Tackling drug activity and resistance mechanisms in neuroendocrine tumors treated with cabozantinib

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are highly vascularized malignancies and angiogenesis plays a relevant role in cell proliferation and survival. Nowadays, innovative therapies have amplified the paradigm treatment of NETs. Among the compounds with anti-vascular properties, cabozantinib (CAB) appeared promising.

#3541 Surgical treatment of type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumors: A 20-years single center experience

Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine tumors (g-NETs) are rare, differentiated and usually indolent lesions; they include 3 types based on their pathogenesis. Type 1 are usually treated endoscopically according to their size, depth of invasion and presence of lymph-node (LN) metastases, types 3 are generally treated surgically. There is no clear evidence of the most accurate staging strategy for regional LN metastases.

#3533 Identification of proangiogenic plasmatic biomarkers in patients with advanced grade 1/2 pancreatic (pan) and gastrointestinal (gi) neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) treated with Lenvatinib: A subanalysis from the TALENT phase II clinical trial

Introduction: TALENT phase II trial provided evidence of the efficacy of Lenvatinib in patients with panNETs and giNETs. However, no predictive biomarker has been associated to antiangiogenic treatment benefit to date.
