Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms frequently metastasise to the liver. Neuroendocrine liver metastases (NELM) may be treated with a broad range of therapeutic options - liver transplantation (LT) being an uncommon, potentially promising, but controversially debated approach.

Introduction: With the increase of incidentally diagnosed pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (panNEN), more patients are treated with curative intent. Survival in patients with a panNEN is impacted by the development of recurrence, but postoperative adjuvant therapy is not yet recommended in guidelines due to absence of evidence. Multiple clinicopathological characteristics have been described in literature to identify patients at high-risk of recurrence who might benefit from adjuvant treatment. Since panNEN are rare tumors, prospective randomized controlled studies on the role of adjuvant therapy in these patients have not been performed.

Introduction: Surgery is the most effective treatment option for neuroendocrine liver metastases (NELM). However, the majority of patients with NELM do not have disease that is resectable using conventional methods. Associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy (ALPPS) is a relatively novel two-stage strategy in hepatic surgery.

Introduction: Neuroendocrine liver metastases are clinically challenging and often non-resectable due to their frequent disseminated distribution. Radioembolisation with yttrium-90 labelled microspheres represents an emerging modality for NELM.

#1878 Measurement in Blood of a Circulating NET mRNA Gene to Predict Surgical Efficacy
Introduction: Surgery is the only curative treatment for GEP-NETs, but identifying post-surgery residual disease is difficult and often delayed.
