Introduction: WHO well differentiated grade 2 NET is large subgroup with extensive tumor heterogeneity. Both FDG and DOTA PET CT are influential in the management of NET. We determine the clinical impact of dual tracer imaging in grade 2 NET.

Introduction: Grade 2 GEP-NETs have inherent tumor heterogeneity seen with positive expression of somatostatin (SSTR) and glucose (GLUT) receptors. Prior surgical resection and imaging parameters on Ga-68 DOTANOC PET/C are well-established variable impacting prognosis in well-differentiated grade 1 NETs. Since the degree of differentiation is variable in Grade 2 NETs, these parameters have not been studied.

#834 Nuclear Imaging in Intermediate Grade Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Early diagnosis and grading is essential to the treatment decision-making in neuroendocrine tumors. Conventionally, proliferation rate (Ki-67) level is used for the grading of NET. Ga-68 SMS-R PET/CT is the imaging method of choice for the detection of unknown primary neuroendocrine tumors. It is very sensitive in well-differentiated tumors (Ki-67 < 2%). Poorly and undifferentiated tumors having Ki-67 greater than 20% are primarily responsible for false negativity of Ga-68 SMS-R PET/CT. In those patients, FDG-PET is performed to localize the site of the primary tumor.
