#3287 Utilization of next generation sequencing in NET/NEC management and practice patterns: A prospective survey of global NET specialists

Introduction: Next generation sequencing based somatic tumor mutation as well as germline mutation data is being increasingly used in cancer management. Pan tumor type FDA approval for NTRK fusion, intermediated-high tumor mutation burden and MSI high status has paved way for tissue agnostic molecularly targeted therapies. Utilization of NGS in neuroendocrine tumor (NET) and neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) is currently unknown.

#3186 Bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine tumors (bpNET) - A comparison of three subgroups

Introduction: bpNET are a rare malignancy of the lung, that arise sporadically (sp-bpNET), in the context of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 (MEN1) syndrome, or in the context of Diffuse Idiopathic Pulmonary Neuroendocrine Cell Hyperplasia (DIPNECH). Until now, bpNET of any type are regarded as similar entities. Clinically however, bpNET within MEN1 or DIPNECH rarely metastasize or lead to bpNET related death.

Introduction: Multiple Endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) is a hereditary tumor syndrome, characterized by an increased lifetime risk of benign and malignant endocrine tumors in various organs. Data on quality of life (QoL) in patients with MEN1 are scarce, whereas QoL is considered an important treatment outcome.
