#4521 [18F]FDG (FDG) PET/CT metrics as prognostic biomarkers in the AGITG NABNEC trial
Introduction: NABNEC was a prospective phase II trial investigating carboplatin/nab-paclitaxel in patients with advanced Grade 3 NENs (NCT02215447).

Introduction: No standard therapies beyond first line are established for advanced EP-NECs. Paclitaxel is also active in NECs however there is no data on the role of nab-paclitaxel.

Introduction: No standard therapies beyond first line are established for advanced NECs. Most NECs are hyper vascular, and the efficacy of paclitaxel-based combination regimens in the treatment of multiple digestive cancers has been reported.

#3320 TGF-β increase caspase activation and migration in typical bronchial carcinoids
Introduction: Typical bronchial carcinoids (TBC) are well-differentiated neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) whose management can still be very challenging due to reduced sensitivity to therapy. Previous studies have reported TGF-β’s ability to activate mTOR pathway and induce epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT). Moreover, preliminary results show an overexpression of TGF-β signalling and caspase activation in TBC.

Introduction: Sinonasal neuroendocrine carcinomas (SNECs) are a very rare and high-grade malignant epithelial neoplasm that is usually associated with a poor prognosis.
